The centre is run predominantly by volunteers and is usually open on wednesday, saturday and sunday. When you intend to visit the centre, visit tellthemradio to find out when we are open.

Remembrance Sunday

We are holding a Remembrance service at the WW1 Remembrance Centre on Sunday 8th Nov from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, this will include the remembrance service and a wander round the museum for those of you who would like to see our extensive collection of exhibits.

Entry to the Remembrance Centre will be free on this occasion.

There will be hot dogs and soup available for a donation towards the running costs of the centre

Music will be provided by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Army Cadet Force Band and
Ms Janet Beale.

Come and join us, we would love to see you.

The wall hanging (above) is one of our donated exhibits, donated by the grandmother of one of the school children who has visited the WW1 Remembrance centre.
