World War One: An Introduction

On the 25th Feb we are holding an informal event at the Groundlings Theatre, at Curzon Howe Road, Portsmouth. PO1 3BS.

A talk as part of a series, presented by Charles Haskell, Director of The World War One Remembrance Centre. Illustrated with artefacts from the centres hands on collection.

Using artefacts, Charles brings the stories "To Life" describing uses of equipment. He will also tell stories of the bravery and sometimes foolishness surrounding the actions of the men and women during the time.

Generally aimed at those above 14 Years of Age, with an interest in the subject. Towards the end of event, there will be an opportunity for a Q/A session with Charles. Booking is essential.
